First of all, Miss Jessica Potter, you would be damn lucky to have the honor and privilege of baby-sitting one of my children. And based on your letter, I wouldn’t be surprised if that turned out to be the highlight of your life.
If you and your liberal studies colleagues don’t mind being anything more than a uterus in a nice house, that’s your business. If you want to be married to someone who would sacrifice a better quality of life and a marriage to a smart, independent woman for the sake of his ego, then great! One less idiot for the rest of us to weed through. But do not imply that my female colleagues and I are doing a disservice to our children by getting a REAL degree and a REAL job. We work very hard and will continue to work hard to have an impact on the world. At least I can be an example to my children; all you can pass on is a legacy of laziness and cowardice.
