1. New draft of greek party party registration policy under discussion
Greek council presidents have forged a new draft for party registration policy that will be reviewed by administrators Thursday, according to Interfraternity Council (IFC) president and business administration junior Domenic Hjerpe. The new draft includes revisions to the definition of fraternity parties and the shutdown time of parties.

All University of California (UC) chancellors plan to carry out a 100 percent ban on tobacco by 2014, according to an official press release from the UC’s Office of the President issued in 2012. “We are in the process of putting together a task force that would review the creation and implementation of the plan, and are currently consulting with campus leadership on the best way to accomplish this,” said Mike Uhlenkamp, director of public affairs for the CSU chancellor’s office.
