1. Cal Poly tabbed No. 1 by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper
In a report released Monday, Collegiate Baseball Newspaper ranked Cal Poly’s baseball team No. 1 in the nation. However, later reports show rankings of No. 2 or No. 3.

The latest ASI presidential debate was hosted by Mustang News and Cal Poly Republicans, moderated by Nate Honeycutt and Sean McMinn.
3. First Earth Day Sustainability Fair hits Cal Poly
The Empower Poly Coalition and the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) Center for Sustainability have joined efforts to host the first Earth Day Sustainability Fair, taking place in the Multi-Activity Center in the Recreation Center from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
4. Spectacle 2014: Ingenuity and creativity from the Cal Poly community
Cal Poly Entrepreneurs hosts Spectacle, a free forum for networking and raising awareness about student startups. It also provides an opportunity for students, faculty and San Luis Obispo residents to demonstrate ingenuity and creativity.
5. SLOCOG considers multipurpose trail near Cal Poly
A new multipurpose trail that would connect San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay with a trailhead near Cal Poly is being considered by the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG). “It’s a pretty good idea,” said Beau Korsmo, a civil engineering freshman. “A lot of people will enjoy it. I enjoy it.”
