When Jacob and Jessie Pickering set out to open a doughnut shop, they knew they wanted to do things differently. Jessie’s family had been in the doughnut business for quite some time, but she didn’t want to follow in her family’s footsteps exactly.

2012 Great Donut Massacre

The 2012 Great Donut Massacre competition, a Greek Week event, raised money for Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County’s Head Start program. Contestants from different sororities and fraternities competed in four categories: men’s and women’s powdered doughnuts, and men’s and women’s devil cake doughnuts.
