IFC fraternities recruit freshmen for first time in three years

Fraternities in the Interfraternity Council (IFC) are recruiting a new set of brothers this week. Recruitment kicked off Tuesday with a barbecue on Dexter Lawn, where all IFC fraternities set up booths to meet students interested in membership.

Attempted robbery in Poly Canyon Village

An attempted robbery was reported on Village Drive at the entrance of Poly Canyon Village (PCV) Saturday afternoon.

The suspect was an unarmed male who physically assaulted the victim and tried to take his cell phone, University Police Department (UPD) Commander Brenda Trobaugh said.
