Open House attracts thousands to Cal Poly
Thousands of prospective students and their families were on hand this past weekend to see the Cal Poly campus for Open House. The event attracted around 25,000 people for the campus showcase on Saturday with over 200 clubs on display.

Administrative officials expect student confusion on how Ombuds differ from a college counselor or advisor. “The Ombuds office is a place where students can go to get assistance to resolve conflicts, personal or academic,” Ponce said.
President Baker to retire at end of academic year
Cal Poly President Warren J. Baker said today that he would retire at the end of this academic year or when a new president is selected.
