Group encourages students to vote
SLO Get Out The Vote is a non-partisan organization dedicated to getting the students of Cal Poly registered to vote in the state of California and with the deadline to register coming up on Oct. 18, they are calling the students to action.
With a General Election coming up on Nov. 2, now it is as important as ever for the students to get their voices heard.
Why you should vote in ASI Elections
People are choosing not to vote in the Associated Students Inc. Elections because they disagree with “what’s going on?” Instead, people are opting to vote on the recent MyCalPoly Portal poll saying they don’t plan to vote in the ASI Elections.
ASI Elections commence
ASI elections began at 7 a.m. at Cal Poly yesterday. ASI set up voting stations at the library and the University Union to encourage students to get out and vote. Voting ends tomorrow at 7 p.m. and the winner will be announced shortly after.
ASI Board of Directors candidates: Part II
