Campus hangover: Cal Poly’s not-so-dry alcohol policies

The smell of barbecued pig filled the air. Friends and strangers gathered around ice chests of cold brew, shared a beverage and prepared for the excitement to ensue. A ping-pong ball whizzed through the air, interrupted by a ker-plunk into a red cup.

Officials question ‘dry campus’

If midterms made you thirsty, then rumors of a pub coming to campus must be making you parched.
While Cal Poly officials are considering adding a pub on campus, the first step is still to see if it’s something a majority of students would want, Associated Students Inc. (ASI) President Jason Colombini said.
