STRIDE Director Ann McDermott invited Michelle Obama to speak at the Childhood Obesity Summit. Thanks largely to STRIDE’s efforts, SLO County already employs many of the methods Obama highlighted with Let’s Move, an initiative developed to reduce childhood obesity rates.
