A student was attacked and robbed early Thursday morning by an unknown suspect in the area of Grand Avenue and Deer Road.
The male student, according to the University Police Department (UPD) in an email, “was approached by an unknown suspect, punched in the face and his backpack was taken.”
The suspect is described being a white male, 19-20 years old, heavy build and approximately 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a white short sleeved T-shirt with black sleeves and black shorts.
This is an ongoing investigation and UPD is following up on leads, UPD chief George Hughes said in an email.
