You may be wondering why there hasn’t been an entry yet about the firing of Cal Poly men’s basketball coach Kevin Bromley (who, according to Fox Sports’ Jeff Goodman, may be replaced by USC’s Bob Cantu or Cal’s Greg Gottlieb).
There are a couple reasons.
I’ve been pondering the future of this blog, and came to the conclusion that it’s time to pass the torch on to those willing — any future Cal Poly journalism students who’d like to blog about Mustangs sports and gain the experience I have.
Additionally, my obligations to The Tribune, as well as my time in class (leading up to my final quarter of school before graduating in June), have complicated reporting and detracted from the time this blog truly deserves.
So it is only fair to open it up to others, if and when they are willing to contribute.
In any event, it’s been my great pleasure to follow Cal Poly sports with you. It’s provided me many timeless, fond memories.
Thanks for reading,
