Two tickets to an NBA game – $100. Team shirt and a hat – $45. Two hot dogs at halftime – $14.

Watching the guy in the seat next to you get beat up by an NBA superstar – one hell of a story to tell your grandkids.

What is a casaba squad?

Casaba was at one time the name for basketball, which was the earliest sport women competed in.

I was a real good student during my four-plus years at Cal Poly. The only thing that kept me from making the Dean’s List each quarter was my work on El Mustang and Mustang Daily.

Honest.

In my first quarter here in the fall of 1965, I was full of energy and enthusiasm.
