Poly mounts furious comeback

A close game against Pacific hadn’t been a good thing for the Cal Poly women’s basketball team this season.

Women's golf team upsets Washington State

Doubles were key for the Cal Poly women’s tennis team as it upset No. 36 Washington State 4-3 at Mustang Courts on Tuesday.

The Mustangs, who split six singles matches with the Cougars, won all three doubles competitions.

The Cal Poly women’s golf team topped Cal State Bakersfield 317-386 in a dual match Sunday at Hunter Ranch Golf Course in Paso Robles.

Sophomore Julia Heath and junior Elsie Walker were co-medalists by carding 78s for Cal Poly.

The Cal Poly women’s basketball team secured a 71-55 win over Cal State Northridge in its regular-season finale Saturday in Mott Gym on Senior Night to earn the No. 5 seed in the Big West Conference Tournament.
