The softball team swept UC Davis and in Sunday’s series-ending game, six players collected an RBI for the Mustangs who are 25 games above .500 for the first time in program history. The baseball team took two of three at UC Santa Barbara this weekend.

The Cal Poly softball team raised more than $1,700 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during its first Power in Pink Day on April 4 against UC Santa Barbara.
This is the third year the Mustangs have raised money for cancer awareness.

Last month Surfline.com, ranked Cal Poly the third best surf school in America. Factors that went into the decision were difficulty to get accepted, difficulty of curriculum, the nightlife, access to surf, size of waves, whether surf classes and a surf team were offered.
