Pyramid theorist speaks at Poly

College is all about being curious, coming up with assumptions and challenging the conventional way of looking at things.

This is exactly what lecturer Craig B. Smith did Thursday, as he explained his theory of how the Great Pyramids of Giza were made.

The lecture was held in the Performing Arts Center.

Hip Hop Congress enlightens, entertains

Alleged e-mail threats sender pleads no contest

Computer engineering freshman Francisco Diaz plead no contest Wednesday morning to felony charges after he was accused of sending threatening e-mails to more than 50 Cal Poly students and faculty in October 2007. The plea bargain, while technically not a guilty plea, means Diaz neither admits nor disputes the charges of criminal threats and unlawful access to a computer and fraud.
