Extreme Makeover: UU Plaza Edition

Plans to give the University Union Plaza a facelift are almost complete and construction is scheduled to begin in a couple months.

The University Union Advisory Board (UUAB) received the newest renderings of the plaza designs, which will be finalized in another week or two.

Health services fee could increase

If approved, students will be facing a $30 per quarter increase of the health services fee alongside any other potential fee increases that may occur. This feel will afford three additional health professionals, three counselors and additional psychiatrists and could start fall quarter 2009.

The current economic downturn could soon have Cal Poly’s evening bus riders thumbing for rides unless subsequent state or federal funding for transit operations becomes available.
