The Cambria Scarecrow Festival is celebrating its ninth season of colorful scarecrows lining the streets of Cambria, San Simeon and Harmony. The month-long festival began Oct. 5th with a gala kickoff at the Cambria Nursery.
Event attendees enjoyed live entertainment, appetizers, wine, a silent auction and the announcement of this year’s winning scarecrow. Close to 500 scarecrows, ranging from fun to funky, are scattered throughout these Central Coast communities and are free to view. The festival runs until Halloween and ends with an Octoberfest celebration Oct. 28th.
