Cal Poly Arts welcomes Riverdance to the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center (PAC) for a two-day show. The international dance troupe will perform as part their 20th Anniversary World Tour Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Riverdance’s production uses a combination of traditional Irish music and dancing to entertain and inspire modern-day audiences. The show includes all-new costumes, lighting, projections and an entirely new number, “Anna Livia,” which will feature the female dancers from the group.
“It’s an iconic production, with the biggest tickets sales for shows of its kind,” said Cal Poly Arts Director Steve Lerian.
Tickets can be purchased through the Performing Arts Center website or by calling (805) 756-4TIX. Prices range from $45 to $80 depending on seating.
“The high energy music and dance make it a show to go to” said Lerian. “The impressive dancing and music will make it a fun evening.”
