Demonstrators both for and against Prop 8 — the proposition that would ban gay marriage — made an appearance at Farmers’ Market Thursday evening, October 9. The peaceful demonstratiton was a way for both sides of the table to show their views and share information with others. Community members and students alike joined on both sides of the argument, holding colorful signs through the packed, downtown crowd.
