Police searched three locations related to this past weekend’s attempted robbery on Thursday afternoon, according to a media release from the San Luis Obispo Police Department (SLOPD).
The locations were on the 1500 block of Mill Street, the 1000 block of Oak Street and the 200 block of N. Chorro Street. Each location is associated with suspects already under arrest in the case, said SLOPD Capt. Keith Storton.
Storton said he could not comment on what was found in the searches, because the investigation into the attempted robbery is ongoing.
SLOPD was assisted by the San Luis Obispo District Attorney’s Office and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department in serving the search warrants.
“The police department is following numerous leads as information is revealed,” the statement read. “Based on information received during the course of this investigation the police department will continue to obtain statements and gather evidence to corroborate the facts of the case.”
