Panhellenic Council is now forming its first ever Junior Panhellenic board, an opportunity for sorority members who have been active for less than a year to gain leadership experience and act as aids to the already existing Panhellenic board.
Panhellenic president and business administration junior Danielle Durante said junior boards are extremely popular at larger universities, particularly in the South, and she’s excited to bring the concept to Cal Poly. She hopes it will give new members a chance to become more involved in Panhellenic and become more visible in the community.
The junior board is being formed by Durante and coordinator of fraternity and sorority life Kathryn O’Hagan. Applications are due Wednesday, and interviews will be conducted this Friday, January 17.
