Mustang News editors and advisers attended the California College Media Awards (CCMA) banquet dinner at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Los Angeles this past weekend.
The group brought home 19 awards in total, including seven first-place plaques. The CCMA honors California’s best in college media.
Mustang News also placed in three categories at the Associated Collegiate Press’ 31st Annual National Journalism Convention Best of Show awards on Sunday. This past October, Mustang News brought home 14 awards from the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Philadelphia, most notably the Online Pacemaker Award — considered by some the highest honor in college media.
