I’m supporting Todd Maki for ASI president because he’s made a commitment to students for the past three years that exemplifies his dedication to the cause of student advocacy. Todd hasn’t waited for the better part of four years to make a difference on campus. Instead, he’s taken his passion for student succession and made it part of his college experience. If the students of Cal Poly want someone who knows the ropes and won’t waste ASI’s time and resources to be trained on how to run a multi-million dollar non-profit corporation then Maki is the man for the job. In the working world, a mailroom employee doesn’t apply to be CEO of the company overnight – so why should the ASI presidential election be any different?
