My fellow students, I don’t know about you, but I’ve taken a gander at the current presidential candidates and I think Arvand Sabetian is the man we want representing us.
Arvand is president of the IFC and this is possibly the best thing he has going for him. It shows that he is a president who will fight for the students, not someone who’s going to stand next to Dave Romero as he signs an ordinance that triples fines for college students. We don’t want a goodie two-shoes president or someone who is already “in line” with the administration. We want someone who will challenge the administration by keeping fees off our back and keeping the times exciting. The fact that Arvand’s in a fraternity makes me think that he likes to have a little fun and I think that could translate into a better ASI. I doubt Souza even knows what a “palooza” is. Let’s make next year a blast and put our name back on the map for Mardi Gras or the next big event like it.
