Sandwiches aren’t hard to find at Cal Poly, with multiple venues in every corner of campus. But there’s no place quite like Sandwich Factory, where customization is king. We at Mustang Media Group set out to make a day’s worth of sandwiches from Sandwich Factory. Here’s how we built sandwiches for every meal, with a little help from the talented folks at Sand Fac.
Breakfast
Check out the “most important meal of the day” done Sandwich Factory-style. This first sandwich is a toasted, whole grain english muffin topped with egg, cheddar, bacon, red onion, spinach and tomato.
Lunch
This combination of lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, jalepeño peppers, mayonnaise, mustard, turkey and provolone on sliced squaw bread is a balanced, nutritious meal to beat the afternoon lull.
Snack
Finally comes the famous PB Banana sandwich, a crowd favorite and the perfect balanced afternoon snack. The ultimate blend of peanut butter, banana and honey on multigrain bread is a perfect snack to help you finish the day strong.
