The Cal Poly baseball team has far exceeded expectations this season. Despite having a subpar season last year, the Mustangs have recovered to have a winning record in their 2016 campaign. Much to the delight of fans and students, the Mustangs have won games in a variety of ways, most notably using daylight and close games to churn out wins. In comparison to the past 10 years, the Mustangs have fared nicely in these two odd, but convincing categories.
