Two Cal Poly alumni, Maxwell Fong and Elan Timmons, created and launched the Ulzi app after their sexual assault awareness campaign gained national attention. The app uses crowd-sourced safety to connect those who want to help with those who need it. Ulzi can be used to create safe routes, track loved ones, and send police exact GPS locations. It can even send alerts to other app users nearby who may be able to respond.
