Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) President Kiyana Tabrizi reported:
• The City of San Luis Obispo has a new community development director who will work on creating a new parking ordinance for the city. The ordinance would regulate how many vehicles are allowed to park in a residential driveway.
Chair of University Union Advisory Board (UUAB) Karen Mesrobian reported:
• The second floor of the University Union has a final master plan for its upcoming renovation. There is no plan on when the next step will take place.
• UUAB is working on identifying signage on trash and recycling cans around campus.
ASI executive director Rick Johnson reported:
• The mid-year ASI budget report is in, and so far, budgets are less than they usually are this time of year. Spending so far is more than $4.3 million.
• Towel services will begin Monday for all members using the Recreation Center.
ASI club funding liaisons Derek Majewski and Eric Freeman reported:
• ASI ran out of club funding by mid-January. They were able to support more than 90 ASI clubs on campus with a grand total of more than $54,000 that was spent on items like club events, trips, clothing for the clubs and club speakers.
