Associated Students Inc. (ASI) held its last Board of Directors meeting June 1. It began at 5:14 p.m. and was adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
For some, it marked the last ASI meeting at Cal Poly, and for others, it was the beginning step to a new year with ASI president-elect Kiyana Tabrizi. As for the agenda, it included last minute business and the discussion of achievements each sub-committee made throughout the year.
The new business included:
- ASI president Sarah Storelli said the sexual assault task force has had three meetings to date and plans to meet with the faculty of resource programs on campus next.
- Voting on and announcing the 2011-12 chief of staff. Current ASI board of directors representative for the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences Katie Titus.
- Cal Poly Corporation executive director Bonnie Murphy said Subway, which is to be built where The Park and Dexter Subs are currently located, is slated to be open for business fall quarter 2011. It will be run and operated by an outside franchise and will, hopefully, be open nightly until 11 p.m.
