When the sun goes down on the first Friday of every month, art comes alive in many shops and restaurants in Downtown San Luis Obispo. Some feature local artists, others simply bring something new to the Central Coast for people to enjoy. A bit of a local secret, January’s Art After Dark revealed many talented jewelry designers and painters.

“As my sea glass collection grew, I started wire wrapping and then progressed to working with pearls, gemstones and lately the industrial chic look in metals,” Bond said.
