Dean of Students Jean DeCosta is continuing to look into whether Interfraternity Council (IFC) chapter Pi Kappa Alpha hosted a party during social probation on Feb. 7, university spokesperson Matt Lazier wrote in an email to Mustang News.
“The Dean of Students Office is still determining whether an official investigation needs to be conducted on the possible (Pi Kappa Alpha) gathering,” Lazier wrote.
DeCosta also looked into two other organizations that reportedly hosted events: Delta Sigma Phi and Phi Kappa Psi. Those fraternities, however, don’t appear to have done anything warranting an official investigation, Lazier said.
IFC President and business administration junior Domenic Hjerpe, a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, attended the reported party and said it was not fraternity-affiliated.
