While most college students around the country are bundling up, Cal Poly students are stripping down for summer winter.
Madeline Andrews, business administration freshman
“I love this dress because red is my favorite color,” Andrews said.
Clinton Kobliska (left), kinesiology junior and Jessica Sampson (right), liberal studies sophomore
“Short shorts and three quarter sleeves are awesome,” Kobliska said.
“I chose this dress because, one, I thought it was going to be warm out today, and it’s just easy to throw on,” Sampson said.
Ethan Glenn, industrial technology freshman
“Pink is the best color for men,” Glenn said.
Holli Fotch, mathematics junior
“I like maxi dresses because it’s more casual in the winter,” Fotch said.
Brady Hiob, mechanical engineering junior
“Pretty much, it’s January, but it’s 80 degrees,” Hiob said. “I figured I should wear something breathable.”
Sam Boogaard, anthropology and geography junior
“I read it was going to be 85 degrees today, so I decided to wear a skirt,” Boogaard said. “I usually wear leggings, but that’s getting kind of old.”
Trevor Melody, journalism freshman
“This is my favorite shirt, because it has stagecoaches on it,” Melody said. “I wore it (thinking) it was going to be cold, but yet I heard it was going to be 81, so I thought a mix of long sleeve and short sleeve would mix it up.”
Jesse Griggs, aerospace engineering sophomore
“I wasn’t going to wear a sweatshirt, but it was super windy this morning, so I decided to wear it anyways,” Griggs said. “I wore the shorts because it was supposed to be 81 today.”
Michael Suh, mechanical engineering junior
“I was already out and I wore this outfit yesterday,” Suh said. “I woke up kind of late for class and I didn’t want to have to bother going through my closet.”
