Twelve buildings on campus are experiencing a hot water outage due to a pipe failure, Cal Poly spokesperson Matt Lazier said. The failure occurred Thursday night after a joint in the utility tunnel malfunctioned.
The buildings affected by the outage are:
02 – Cotchett Education Building
03 – Business
14 – Frank E. Pilling Building (Computer Science)
21 – Engineering West
26 – Graphic Arts
27 – Health Center
43 – Recreation Center
46 – Old Natatorium
60 – Crandall Gymnasium
124 – Student Services
186 – Construction Innovations Center
187 – Simpson Strong-Tie Lab
Hot water is expected to be restored by this evening.
