Cal Poly men’s tennis head coach Justin McGrath announced his plan to step down from his position with the Mustangs today, after five years with the program.
“I’ve enjoyed my time at Cal Poly,” McGrath said in a release. “But, now, I want to pursue some other challenges. I wish the Mustangs all the best … I would like to thank the past and current administration for the opportunity to coach at Cal Poly, the community for their tremendous amount of support and the players for allowing me to coach them.”
McGrath helped propel the Mustangs to their first NCAA Division I Tennis Championship appearance last year, after boasting a 14-7 record.
