Ryan ChartrandIf you are going to write a humor column please make it funny, not entirely ignorant and offensive. I don’t believe that I am too far out of line in saying that the hate speech blatantly displayed in your most recent article (“Why I Hate White People” on Jan. 10) would be severely punished if it were to be written by a non-humor columnist about, say, a minority group. I’m not saying what you wrote should be censored – write what you want – but I think it was very na’ve of you to believe people would think of this article as humorous. Keep your audience in mind and entertain us, instead of promoting your own bigoted, demeaning agenda.
