The Cal Poly women’s cross country team had a solid performance with a third place finish at the Stanford Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Kimberly Donatelli led the Cal Poly contingent with a 13th-place time of 14 minutes, 56 seconds on the 5K course.
She was followed by classmate Alyssa Daw in 14th in 14:56. Rachel Valliere finished 18th. The junior completed the course in 15:14.
The Cal Poly men’s cross country team placed fifth in the inaugural Bill Dellinger Invitational on Friday at Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Ore.
Phillip Reid was Cal Poly’s top finisher, placing 14th (23:46.03 over 8,000 meters), and Matt Johnsrud was 16th (23:49.11).
Also placing for Cal Poly were Troy Swier, 27th; Brian Baker, 41st; and Jameson Mora, 49th.
