The Crops Club has been busy in preparation for the Halloween corn maze event that opened last weekend. The club opened the event alongside the pumpkin patch it hosts.
President Joe Chambers said the club made more than half of its goal in proceeds last weekend. He hopes to beat that this weekend.
Tickets are sold at the event and are $5 for adults and $3 for children under the age of 12. The proceeds go directly back to the crops club, even benefitting a scholarship fund.
Chambers said the event is a great alternative to drinking and encourages all students and families to come out.
The maze will be open Friday and Saturday night from 6-10 p.m. After dark, prepare for things to get scary. The maze is located on Highland Drive across the street from the Crops Unit. Parking is provided on site.
