Renowned comedian Brian Regan will hit the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center stage this Thursday, Dec. 4.
Cal Poly Arts Director Steve Lerian said Regan is one of the best and hardest working stand-up comedians.
“He’s like a road warrior,” Lerian said. “He’s always out there touring.”
Regan typically performs for 2,000-seat venues, so Cal Poly is lucky to host him at its 1,280-seat theater this week, Lerian said.
Regan is best known for his clean but uncompromisingly funny stand-up material.
“He does observational comedy,” Lerian said. “He sees the world and just talks about it from crazy points of view. He sees things we all see, but looks at them from a little different perspective and it’s always hilarious.”
Regan’s humor is child-appropriate and people of all ages would enjoy it, Lerian said.
“You can bring the whole family and not be offended by language, but it doesn’t take away from how funny he is,” he said. “He crosses all generational lines.”
Regan’s sold out show will begin at 7:30 p.m.
