Flavor of SLO was held this past Sunday at Jack House and Gardens in San Luis Obispo. All proceeds from the event, put on by Cal Poly students, benefited the local non-profit United Way, which focuses on advancing the common good of the San Luis Obispo community.
Twenty-seven vendors from across the county came to offer samples of their beer, wine or food to those who were lucky enough to snag tickets before they sold out.
Many vendors brought out their big guns, bringing their best dishes for Flavor of SLO attendees to sample. Upper Crust Trattoria employee and English junior Katie Crilley said guests were sampling her favorite dish at the restaurant’s booth.
“It’s my favorite thing on the menu, so I’m so excited that they brought it here today,” she said.
