This project was a product of circumstance. A newly purchased Nikon, tips from a professional photographer roommate, an influx of free time and a scenic summer made these photos possible. Each picture captures a moment in a summer season that is chock-full of memorable experiences.
This is the first time I’ve spent summer break at Cal Poly. Much of the space in and around campus is liberated of the people traffic that clogs up the sidewalks, hallways and Subway sandwich shops. A new setting has presented itself — and it’s around for a limited time only. The following photos are a glimpse into summer in San Luis Obispo.
